Mark Davis was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised on the south side. He attended Forresville and Holy Angels Grammar Schools then went on to St. Rita & Dusable High Schools. Thereafter he graduated from Chicago State University and received his Masters Degree from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT)
He served thirty-two dedicated years of service with the Chicago Police Department, rising through the ranks from patrol officer to Commander of Gresham (006th) district. Before retiring from the CPD in August 2002, he was the commander of Police Dispatch of the Office of Emergency Management and Communications. Mark is currently the chief of Police for the Village of Calumet Park in Calumet park, Illinois and living in Chicago. (Awards below)
